Phu Thai Holdings Group Celebrates Its 32nd Anniversary

On October 15, 2025, Phu Thai Holdings Group solemnly held the ceremony for its 32nd anniversary (1993–2025) under the theme “Together for Growth. Today. Tomorrow. 2033”.

This event marked a special milestone in the more-than-three-decades journey of formation, development and contribution by Phu Thai to Vietnam’s economy — from a pioneering consumer-goods distribution enterprise in the early reform period, to today's top multi-sector investment and business ecosystem.

Founded in 1993, Phu Thai was one of the first private enterprises established after the State recognized the private economic sector and Vietnam embarked on international integration.

From a model focused on distributing consumer goods, Phu Thai quickly expanded into multi-sector distribution, becoming a bridge that brought many global brands to Vietnamese consumers.

Over more than three decades of growth, Phu Thai today has grown into a leading distribution and strategic investment ecosystem in Vietnam, operating in multiple key sectors such as distribution – agriculture – manufacturing – logistics – real-estate investment – education – international trade & export-import.

On this solid foundation of success, Phu Thai further affirmed its “Future Ready 2033” vision — aiming to become a model Vietnamese conglomerate, where outstanding people unite to create prosperity and rise to regional stature.

Behind Phu Thai’s extraordinary achievements lies the forward-thinking vision of its leader: Dr. Pham Dinh Doan – Chairman of the Board of Phu Thai Holdings Group. He is the one who has built the corporate culture identity and strong development foundation of the Group today. At the event, Chairman Pham Dinh Doan inspired and shared many important strategic orientations; the period 2025–2033 is defined as the acceleration “breakthrough” phase, focusing on five strategic development pillars:

Goals by 2033:

- Revenue of USD 4 billion;
- 150 member & affiliated companies in the ecosystem;
- 3–5 listed companies;
- ROE (Return on Equity) above 15–20%;
- 100 ELITE leaders;
- 100% of units applying digital data and AI.

This is the “8-year harvest phase”, during which the entire Phu Thai ecosystem will unify and accelerate to create new milestones — after “32 years of cultivation” of a sustainable foundation, strong corporate culture and an ever-enterprising spirit of innovation.

Also during the anniversary ceremony, the Group launched a series of important activities to consolidate and complete governance for the new development phase. Notably: the launch of Phu Thai Academy — the nucleus for implementing the talent-development strategy, along with the official announcement of the Elite 100 programme.

The Elite 100 programme is designed to select, develop and appoint the elite leadership team of the Group during the 2025–2033 period — outstanding individuals who will become the leadership core and future owners in the Phu Thai ecosystem.

According to the modern talent-governance model, Elite 100 will be selected based on the five core values of Phu Thai’s leaders:

This is a concrete step in realising the philosophy of “Valuing talent – Granting ownership – Prospering together”, while laying the foundation for succession programmes such as SME 300 – the co-development ecosystem between Phu Thai and Vietnamese satellite enterprises.

The ceremony also served as an occasion for the entire Group to look back on its journey over the first nine months of 2025, recognising member units that achieved and exceeded their plans, typical among them: Phu Thai CAT, Phu Thai Mobility, Green Group, Phu Thai Ha Noi, …

With a spirit of mutual support and care, at the ceremony Chairman Pham Dinh Doan personally launched the movement “Phu Thai – Joining Hands for Flood Victims” to share difficulties with provinces and cities severely affected by Tropical Storm No. 10 and Storm No. 11. The total cash and in-kind donations raised immediately during the programme reached VND 2.78 billion, helping to spread the spirit “Together for Growth – Sharing Love.”
